Network Discovery
Hi, I recently installed Windows Server 2008 Enterprize Edition on my Mac via Parallels Server 4. I set it up on a bridged connection. I am unable to connect to a network. When I open the network & sharing center and try to turn on network discovery and other services, I click turn on, Apply and nothing happens. It brings me back to the main network and sharing center and it is still turned off. Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Regards, Leo.

It seem a problem related to the virtualisation software. I seen a old post like ;http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=97043 that the network discovery does not work at all. Did you updated the NIC driver to use the latest's one from parallels ? Just to be sure, does you DNS is setup correctly, as even if the network discovery is at off. It does not make your server stop working at all.MCP | MCTS 70-236: Exchange Server 2007, Configuring Microsoft Translator Widget on TechNet Wiki | French's Translater & Moderator.
