Hi ,

There are many Network devices that failed to discovered based on ICMP and SNMP Discovery, while am trying to discover based on ICMP only its fine.. I did a lot of troubleshooting but issue occurs in Pending Network Device Management as No SNMP Response ..  IS SCOM looking for any Particular OIDs of Network Devices for the discovery and the Monitoring??

Is any simple tool available to troubleshoot the discovery and monitoring from SCOM End...I want to know in details about Network Device discovery & Monitoring troubleshooting.. please a

Network device discovery
1) SCOM only discovery network device which response SNMP Response and its does not discovery the device based on ICMP only
2) If your network device in MS Supporting list, SCOM will automatic monitor this device based on OID value once its had been discovery
3) If your network device not in MS Supporting list, you should built your own monitor based on OID value
4) network device discovery troubleshoot, pls. refer
