Hi,

Find "Discover SQL Server 200x Database  Engines" and add your instances to the Exclude List via override.

1) using override to disable the discovery of this two instances
2) using powershell, Remove-SCOMDisabledClassInstance, to remove disabled instance

Hello Alexey,

Thanks for your reply

The instance name re not unique, the same instances are present in another system,so i think its not possible to exclude it.

Create an override for the one server, not for all. This exclusion will work for the one server only.

Take SQL Server 2012 DB Engine as an example

1) Using overrides --> Overrides the object Discovery --> For a specific object of class: SQL server 2012 Installation seed

2) select the object HELIC.common.com

3) In the Exclude list, type the instance name which you want to exclude by comma
