I am setting up a computer to run Windows Server 2008 Standard (Not R2). I have never set-up a server before and only some server knowledge to be dangerous. The computer is a Dell Dimension 4600C with: Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz 2.79 GHz 1.00 GB RAM I would like to be able to access this server through roaming clients. I would like to use Terminal Services. The roaming clients will be using Vista and XP. As for anything else, I'm not sure. Is there somewhere I can go to find good, easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions on how to go about setting up the server properly? Or can someone help me with this? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Again, I just installed the Server operating system and need direction on what to do next.
