Need help for WMI
If this is a Server 2008 R2 server then there was a Kb article released a while ago relating to a WMI memory leak.

like gary mentioned, if you are running w2k8 r2 without sp1, check the kb he linked.
when you get the error, can you verify in the service control panel if the windows management instrumentation service is running, or if restarting it helps?

Need help for this

We have a local server monitoring tool which use to work WMI service. Now days we are facing lots of issue with WMI, solution for
this problem is rebooting the server. After 10 to 15 day again we are getting error from WMI again need to reboot the server for fixing this issue.
Is there any other solution without reboot to resolve the WMI problem?

could you give some more info? what error do you see? which version of windows are you running, and what monitoring software?

Hi FZB,
It’s our internal tool. We are trying to execute cmd C:\ wmic
wmic:root\cli>os
Getting error message unable to executed the cmd
