like gary mentioned, if you are running w2k8 r2 without sp1, check the kb he linked. when you get the error, can you verify in the service control panel if the windows management instrumentation service is running, or if restarting it helps?

Hi all, Need help for this J We have a local server monitoring tool which use to work WMI service. Now days we are facing lots of issue with WMI, solution for this problem is rebooting the server. After 10 to 15 day again we are getting error from WMI again need to reboot the server for fixing this issue. Is there any other solution without reboot to resolve the WMI problem?
