Hi,

I currently have a Business Intelligence Center set up with a documents area. ALL of my documents are being stored in 1 place, complete with Managed Metadata columns.

I then have 6-8 other sub sites, that each have a Content Query Web Part added that, using the managed metadata columns in the docs area of the BIC, displays what's relevant to that particular site.

I have 2 problems when it comes to running a Search against this (using the OOB search box in top right):

1) when users search for a report, the results show the report in the BIC. However, I don't want users to access see the BIC & so need the Search result to point to the results of the CQWP's - is this possible & if so, how?

2) Likewise, all "tags" are in the BIC & I want the Search results to see the tags shown in the CQWP results & not the BIC.

Major, major help if this is doable, by hook or by crook! I am relatively techy but would welcome a simple explanation of procedure/options with regards to the above.
