Naming master error? or other?
Having an issue where the administrator account is the only one actually behaving as an admin account. Even copying the Admin accounts into a new account does not help. NTDSUTIL Metadata cleanup: No current domain No current server No current Naming Context however there are no orphan domains or DC. Tried to transfer and seize roles, still the same error. DNS is working, repadmin returns clean results, sonar shows no errors. How can I fix? TIA

Only THE administrator account runs with admin privilege by default. Other accounts in the admin group need to run in elevated mode to have admin privilege. Bill

True. But you when you have a member of domain admins account unable to access the SQL database, while the Builtin administrator can, something is wrong.Newly created accounts with Administrative rights cannot perform their designated functions, and that points to an error.

Hi, The message below seems normal. "No current domain No current server No current Naming Context " I suggest we focus on your original administrator account issue. Please help to collect the following information for research: 1. What’s the detailed error message about the admin account problem? 2. When did the issue start to occur? 3. Is there any change made in your Domain? 4. What did you mean by "copying the admin accounts into a new account"? How did you do that? 5. Collect the following information for research. dcdiag /v /c /d /e /s:dcname >c:\dcdiag.txt netdiag /v >c:\netdiag.txt Upload these files to Windows Live SkyDrive (http://www.skydrive.live.com/). If you would like other community member to analyze the report, you can paste the link here, if not, you can send the link to tfwst@microsoft.com. No current Domain does not seem to be normal, I do not get it on a properly functioning domain. The other two seem normal. I will post the results when I get back to the site next Monday.
