Nameservers for Hosting own Website Internally
I have a 2008 enterprise server in the DMZ of my all native single domain network. The 2k8 server is able to log into the domain via firewall settings due to its need to communicate backend with our SQL server. I have a registered domain name, and have it mapped to my external static IP. The external static IP is mapped to the internal IP via the firewall. My problem is I dont know what to use for name servers. I do have two internal servers that are domain controllers, and DNS servers in a seperate VLAN from the DMZ. Im just not real sure how to handle this. Any help or thoughts are greatly appreciated!!

Hi,
For more information about DNS implementation, you can refer to the Designing a DNS Namespace for the Active Directory section of the DNS whitepaper:

Hope it helps.
