NTbackup system state taking to long
I hope I'm in the right place if not please advice. ThanksIssue:When I try to run ntbackup and do a system state backup it will load the windows of the backup process and then will not do nothing for a long time, I guess that after a few hours it start to do it but i'm not sure how many. the VSSC.exe is about 25% with 8000kb and increasing vert slowly. I try to use the roll up package and register the DLL but nothing seems to help.Iuse vssadmin to check the providers and writers and everything is looking good no error.I will appreciate any idea you might have to help me to boost the system performance, system wascrash a few weeks ago I had to do adcpromo to remove my domain I follow all the steps from this article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/258062. after complete removal I didrestore my AD and DC and they workingok.Backup is done from the RAID5to my RAID0 Harddrive onattach to the local computer.Here is the server configDual Xeon 51204 SATA 10k RAID52 SATA 10k RAID14GB RAMWindows 2003 SBS SP2SQL Server 2000 SP4IIS Server Please let me know if you need more information.Thank you

Meanwhile, to isolate this issue, you may refer to the following steps to boot the problematic server with clean boot mode to test if the performance issue still continues.
Steps: Clean Boot
1. On a problematic server perform a clean boot and check if the issue still exists
2. Click Start->Run...->type msconfig and press Enter
3. Click Services tab and select Hide All Microsoft Services and Disable All third party Services.
4. Click Startup tab and Disable All startup items
5. Click OK and choose Restart
