NTFS permissions
I've got two users (user1 and user2). I've got also two folders folder1 and folder2. folder2 is inside folder1. I just want that user1 will have full control on folder1 and folder and that user2 will have the right to read the content of folder1 and will
not have the right to read the content of folder2. I am not used to do this kind of things. So, how should I proceed to realize this?

It is so simple. Here you should modify the NTFS permissions. To modify them right click on the folder and click on security then modify.
For the folder2, you should disable the inheritance of permissions from folder1. Then, you should give full control to user1 and deny the read right for user2.
For the folder1, you should give full control to user1 and the read right to user2.

By proceeding like that, are you sure that user2 will have no rights on the second folder?

Yes, I am sure. You can check it if you want.

Malek Ahmed,
