NTFS Permissions dissapear
over the past week or so I've had an issue of disappearing NTFS permissions on a few folders. The folders are all located under the logfile root for IIS. The logfile root is shared out but the subfolders that have been affected by the disappearing permissions are not shared. The typical configuration is system and admin and one account that has read only access. Randomly for no reason I have been having issues where the read only account dissapears from the permissions leaving System and admin still there. I've re-applied the permissions and have yet to see anything happen again. However, it's a mystery as to why this happens. It's only the logfiles subfolders and the only account removed is the read only one. I did run a check disk on the server and it didn't report any issues. Any ideas what could be causing this?Meep
