NTBackup
Hi
Windows server 2003 NTbackup and restore. If you start to restore local drive c: with ntbackup- normal full backup from a removable storage, and you decides to cancel the backup job after a while before the job is finished- i need to
know if this would normally fail after a reboot of the server. - Is there anything to be aware of in case it don't fail.?

Depends upon the scenario. Lets say that if you are restoring a files server and the size is big and you cancel it due to any reason then there should be no impact on the Operating system the data restored would be partial as it was cancelled. The server
should boot normally.http://www.virmansec.com/blogs/skhairuddin
