NLB issue with additional IP
In a test zone has created a configuration: 2 HP BL30p, Windows 2003 R2, NLB with 2 IP (primary IP and secondary/additional IP); physical servers are connected in a Cisco 6500; statically ARP-IP records are made. From a local network both addresses are accessible; from remote lan - only main IP-address. If to change in places the primary IP and second IP address - second IP correctly starts to work, and the old first - becomes accessible only within the board of a local network. WHY!???? WHAT FOR then second address in general? There can be second VIP absolutely not working? Thanks

The problem is solved! On the network equipment it is necessary to register not separate independent pars "NLB IP - NLB mac", and "primary NLB IP - primary NLB mac" and "secondary NLB IP - primary NLB mac" ;-)
