NFS under W2K3 R2
Since there's no W2K3 forum...I have a W2K3 R2 file server and have created several NFS shares. When I mount them on my Linux or Solaris servers, they have 700 permissions and are owned by nobody or nfsnobody, and so are unusable. I cannot find any options that will change the default permissions that UNIX will see.I know there is some goofy user mapping (which makes zero sense, as NFS v3 has no user authentication whatsoever), and the only references I can find to these sort of problems is with the user maps. But user mapping cannot possibly help me, as the Linux or Solaris machines can never even begin to read the shares.
