NFS ports not closed after remote machine is down.

Hi,

I'm facing the issue with NFS ports opened not getting closed.here is the scenario

A Linux machine mounts the folder shared on windows server 2008 in Linux machine and I observe a NFS port is opened. when the Linux machine mounts powers off suddenly the port on the server still remains open and after few iterations I observe 15 NFS ports are in "ESTABLISHED" state and the NFS services rejects the further NFS requests. If I reset the network interface the ports are getting released.

Is there a way to do this automatically? I have tried setting "KeepAliveInterval" but no luck.

Thanks.
