NETLOGON doesn't start automatically on Exchange Server
Currently on my Exchange Server with Server 2003 SP2, the NETLOGON service does not start automatically even though it is configured to do so. Once I manually start it, I receive no errors and the service starts fine. I would like to get this service working automatically again, but haven't found a solution. The only Event ID received is 1053. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Use NETDIAG /FIX from a support tools command prompt to resolve the DNS issues. You need to install support tools.

Thanks for the quick reply; my Exchange does not have Symantec Endpoint Installed and is not a DC. I believe my issues are beyond just netlogon. Whenever netlogon is set to automatic, many other services don't start either. Another service that I had to set to manual is Windows Time. Once those two services are set to manual (while in safe mode) I reboot exchange and it comes up fine; I don't even have to start netlogon or windows time, they come up on their own even though they are set to manual. I believe there may be some registry keys that are corrupt and may just end up reloading this server. As a side note, my second exchange server is working fine. Thanks again.

Thanks much, will try it out and post the results. I ran a netdiag on the server but didn't seem to have any issues reported. Why do you suggest DNS may be an issue in this case?
