My powerpivot window, home tab, view area, does not have a diagram view. How do I find it?
I am following the tutorial for powerpivot tables from the microsoft SQL server site.  In the section for creating relationships, it references a diagram view located on the powerpivot window, home tabe, view area.  I do not have this option on my ribbon.  Is there a way to add it in?

What version of PowerPivot are you using? Diagram view is not in PowerPivot v1.

Hi ltlnt,

As Chu posted above, PowerPivot Version 1 doesn't not have Diagram View which has been introduced in PowerPivot Version 2. In addition, please ensure that you install SQL Server PowerPivot V2 for Excel successfully. So, we can click the "PowerPivot" tab when you open a Excel workbook. For more information about installing PowerPivot for Excel, please refer to the article below:

I downloaded the 32bit R2 version for Office 2010.  Got half way through the tutorial with no problems.  Just no diagram view.  Removed the download, then reinstalled. Got tab for power pivot as before, clicked on PowerPivotWindow, view area still does not have a diagram view.

I'm facing the same issues on a 2010 Excel running on a Windows 7.

Installed the latest PPivot from Microsoft website. Also installed .NET4 and Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime as recommended.

Updated/downloaded the lastest updates suggested by Win Update

Etc etc

But the problem remains : no diagram view and none of the latest additions to PPivot.

ANyone got an idea ?
