Hello, make sure Netbios over TCP/IP is enabled and the computer browser service is started.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

Not sure if you have done this already nitinz, but have you right clicked on Entire Network > Explore? If so, then can you ping by both workstation name as well as IP address?Regards, Nathan Owen (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) - Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you. As I see, you are using \\computername. So, you try to access folder using its NetBIOS name. Use ipconfig /all to check that NetBIOS over TCP / IP is enabled. For more information about the enable of NetBIOS over TCP / IP, refer to this Microsoft article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727013.aspx What are the errors that are shown? Also, try to disable firewalls and security softwares and check if you are able to browse.
