Multiple connections to 2008 Share using same account
I have a test lab that uses the same login for each of the 6 computers. Previously using a Win 2003 server I had no problem accessing the same network share on multiple PCs. With my new 2008 Standard Server, the share works for the first connected PC, but any others get the error: "Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, ... are not allowed. ......." Is there a way to allow the same user name to access this share from multiple PCs?

Try to use the IP address of the server when yu try to access the share. Also, try to create an alias name for the server and use it when connected to a share.
