Multiple Ip address on Windows Server 2008 R2 & setting up an Ip as default IP
We have around 10 new web servers which we are building with windows Server 2008 R2, in windows 2003 when we set up multiple ipv4 ips on a Network adapter the ip that is on top of the list is taken as default IP & the rest will be used by specific application. But in Windows 2008 R2 servers the ip with the least (20.26.210.142, 20.26.210.35) is taken as default IP & all communications happen with that ip only. In this above example I have an server for which i require 20.26.210.142 to be taken as default ip & the 20.26.210.35 to be used for Application. I checked out the following hotfix but it is available for Vista & 2008 SP2 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975808. Please let me know in resolving the issue.
