hi guys! so with exchange 2k7 its easily possible to add more than one common name (CN) to a certificate request when using the powershell to create a new CSR. i want to do excatly the same thing for an IIS7 CSR. unfortunately, the wizzard doesn't seem to allow to add more than one CN. so my question is, how do i generate a certificate request with IIS7 which includes MORE THAN ONE common name (no, i'm not talking about SAN or wildcard certificates here, i just need two common names) any ideas? ok. answered the question myself. just in case someone else encounters this problem: fire up certmgr.msc, right click "Personal", "All Tasks" --> "Advanced Operations" --> "Create Custom Request". Voil. -Tom
