Hi,

I want to configure a SharePoint Server 2013 multi-tenant farm for on-premises installation and use a dedicated farm to host the SharePoint 2013 Search Service, this because we have ~20 million tems to index. Is posible to configure the Search Farm in partition mode and make it work for the multi-tenant farm?

, you can use multiple index partition - each of this up to 10 millions items on index

Based on this you can use the same farm, with a good farm's topology
