Moving a 2012R2 AD Integrated DNS to a new IP address in a different location

I recall that moving a 2003 AD Integrated DNS server to a different address space was not a trivial exercise.   Is there any updated guidance or procedure change for 2012R2?  The best references I have found refer to 2003 and 2008.

Thanks for your help!

As far as I know, not much difference. Just add a domain controller running Windows Server 2012 R2, configure it as a DNS server. Then make sure that all the zones replicate to the new domain controller.

Don't use the new server as DNS server until all DNS data are present on the new Windows Server 2012 R2. Once all the AD integrated DNS zones are present on the new 2012 domain controllers, you can start to decommission the old DNS servers.
