Move Enterprise CA with windows 2003 enterprise edition to windows 2008 R2 enterprise CA standard edition
Hi Experts, We have configured enterprise CA with windows 2003 enterprise edition on windows 2003 domain controller. As we are upgrading domain controller to windows 2008 R2 we have to move enterprise CA to windows 2008 R2 standard edition. We are using certificate server for auto enrolment users and computer certificate for connection WLAN. We have created new template in CA Wireless User and Wireless Computer. The same publish in active directory. we know we can take backup and restore CA on another computer but I need help to understand can we use windows 2008 R2 standard edition for restoring windows 2003 enterprise CA with enterprise edition.Regards, Nitin Dongre
