Move DHCP database to Windows Server 2008 R2
Hi, I'm moving the DHCP database from a Windows SBS 2003 to a new Windows Server 2008 R2. I used to do this operation with the Migration Tool Feature in R2 on regular Windows Server but when I launch it on the Small Business Server 2003 it gave me the error OS not supported. I found this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/962355 that applies to Windows Server 2008 only. Can you confirm that i can also use it on a Windows Server 2008 R2 ?www.revuedugeek.com | Dployer Windows 7

What is the error that is displayed?
August 17th, 2010 8:29pm

I just install the DHCP nothing else, i did the import in netsh and gave me error while importing the class about the default remote access and routing class. It says it is conflicting with the existing class. (i translated the error) Maybe because the source server is also a VPN server. www.revuedugeek.com | Déployer Windows 7

Is your two DHCP servers using different languages? If yes, this is the cause of your problem. Best regards.
