I am testing SCOM 2012 and see the new management pack for Windows Server 2012 was released along with a management pack for AD FS 2012 and AD CS 2012. Does anyone know the status of a management pack for AD DS 2012?

The link I listed above states that Server 2012 is now supported, but when I extract this file, I do not see any MP files for ADDS 2012.

From what I'm seeing 2012 is being inventoried as 2008. Does anyone know if this is by design or will this be corrected in an update?

Isn't this MP for SCOM 2007? I'm looking for a MP to allow SCOM 2012 to monitor 2012 AD. From what I can tell in my lab SCOM 2012 currently reconizes AD 2012 as AD 2008 as it displays 2012 DCs in the 2008 DC filters.

Hey guys - is there any update on this?  I still can't see or locate anywhere, an Active Directory 2012 management pack.  There's nothing showing up in the online catalog.  I can see Rights Management Server 2012 and Certification Services 2012, but no Active Directory Server 2012.

It's hard to believe that with System Center 2012 R2, and Windows Server 2012 R2 just around the corner, that there is STILL no native management pack for SC2012 Operations Manager to monitor a 2K12 AD environment.

As mentioned by Daniel above, the existing 2008 ADDS MP (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21357) will support 2012 as well. It is "just" cosmetic that MS did not add an additional MP for 2012 or at least updates the guide (completely) and changes at least the display strings within the MP from "2008" to "2008/2012".

Technically the MP should work as expected.

What is kind of disappointing is, that there is no AD Server 2012 object introduced, all the new objects are still discovered as AD Server 2008, so there is no way to i.e. override a monitor for all the AD Server 2012 objects unless you create a group of objects
