Missing images in RWW following redirect
Hello there
I know this is a Web server forum, but I thought perhaps ths issue could be best answered by IIS /Webserver guys
We have successfully set up a second server to run a SharePoint next to our SBS 2011 machine. We bypass the default SharePoint site in SBS to the new SharePoint server by successful using http redirect within IIS, specifically at
SBSERVER\Sites\Default Web Site\Remote\BuiltIns\InternalWebSite.
The SharePoint server is secured with SSL and a certificate and this works fine.
However there is a caveat. When viewing the remote Web Workplace, the webpart for the Internal Company website should look like the first image, but it displays as per the second image
The icon goes missing. Typically this URL would link directly to the SharePoint site within. As the original site is being bypassed to
a different site, is this cause by some sort of CSS tag problem on RWW page?
I should point out that when the separate window
opens on this link, the pathway is displayed as remote.company.com.au/Remote/internalwebsite using presumably certificate credentials from the SBS machine even though it is picking up a secure connection to the second server.
Any suggestions from you wise chaps and chicas on how to solve this?
