Missing gateway
Hi,
I need a hotfix just like this one:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/973243/en-us except I’am running Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise, and this hotfix 973243 will not run on my system.
Can anyone please provide me with a link to a hotfix that works for my setup.
Thanks in advance
Lasse

Hi Lasse,
Thanks for posting here.
Could you discuss this issue in detail first ? how did you configure the entry for this server and have you recently modified any system setting on this server ?
Have also verified the register key like what mentioned in KB 973243?
Maybe we can try the workaround in the KB article below first:
Blank default gateway may occur after configuring Static IP address following network driver upgrade on Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2

Thanks.

Hi Tiger Li
I have not recently modified any system settings on the servere, and can't remember that I have updatet the network driver recently.
This is a HP server and the two NIC's (Port type: NC382i) are teamed with "HP Network Configuration Utillity", running team type: 802.3ad Dynamic with Fault Tolerance - 1000/Full Duplex and static IP.
I have verified the reg key from KB973243, and could confirm that a "extra" line was under the GW adr.
Thanks
Lasse
