I took a backup of my SUSDB and content and resorted to a different location on the new SQL server.

Installed WSUS on server 2012 using the WID Database and WSUS service

Then tried to point it to the restored DB but I failed, and was setting the DB to the internal DB if we restart the service

I tried this process also:-
