Hi guys,

I've 2 DNS standalone servers (1 primary and 1 secondary) running on Windows 2003. I wish to setup another 2 DNS servers running on Windows 2012. How do I migrate the settings over to the new servers so that I can safely remove the old DNS servers from my network?

Hi,

Install DNS server role on Windows Server 2012, and configure it as secondary DNS servers to the old DNS servers. Do replication, once completed, change them from secondary to primary. Remove  old servers and also clear their record in new DNS.
