Microsoft TechNet Evalations
My company is a TechNet subscriber and in the past we were able to obtain license keys for our evaluation copies of Windows Server. These keys would allow an indefinate period of time to use the evaluation copy. Can you still obtain these keys? I have a
Windows Server 2008 (x86) Evaluation EN DVD and I would like to install this on one of our test servers that is currently running a Windows 2003 Evaluation server that I was able to get a key for. This has been running for over three years without issue. Please
help. ThanksSincerely, Corkey53 Business Systems Engineer

Hello, If your company is still a technet subscriber, yes you can obtain the keys as long as you are using trhe license for company testing/evaluation. If you company is no longer subscribed to technet, you can still logon with the old account and retrieve
all keys that were previously used. But those keys will onl work with tthe installation media that it was downloaded with. If you have a w2k8 evaluation disk, you can still evaluate the product witih no license for up to 120 days.
Hope this helps,
