I have downloaded the Microsoft Security Compliance Manager (SCM2) and am looking at the Microsoft Baselines for Windows 2008 R2 SP1 File Server Security Compliance 1.0. On the right pane I see 180 settings. How do I use these settings? Do I export this to a GPO and then apply it to my server? I am new to MSCM, what are the best practices for applying the baselines to my servers?
