Hi

When I try to install Microsoft SQL Server SP1 Express Advanced SP1 (SQLEXPRADV_x64_ENU) I get the following error.

An error was encountered.
Unspecified error

Trying to install on Server 2012. .net is installed.

You didn't mention ther version of SQL Server you tried to install, is it 2005, 2008, 2008R2 or 2012?

Please check the installation log files for further details / hints about the error; the log files are located in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\Log
and the sub folders with the timestamp of installation.

When I download the file from https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/pd/SQLEXPAS/enus/ I get the error. The version I got from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29062 is working perfectly.
