We maintain a Microsoft Access 2013 database of customer and financial information. We are running Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant for Access 6.0 and want to transfer the database tables/records to a Microsoft Azure SQL Database. All tables are converted and loaded to the Microsoft Azure SQL Database without incident. In addition, most of the tables migrate 100% of the data without incident. However, the larger tables in our Access database, those with 400,000+ records, fail to migrate. The migration indicator within SQL Server Migration Assistant makes some progress, but it hangs, and ultimately times out the connection, returning an error message. We have attempted changing the migration batch size, but that has not resolved the matter. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.
