Microsoft .NET Framework while trying to load assembly id 1

Hi

We have started to get the following error occur, at present our solution is to upgrade from a basic database to a premium tier to force the database to be deployed in a different location, this corrects the issue and we can then downgrade again without the issue reoccurring this points to a problem within Azure. Is this being looked into or is there any alternative solution we can use?

Hi Sweijers,

Yes its a known issue with SQL Server. We are not entirely sure if the problem still exists with SQL Azure Database (as SQL Azure database is known to run with the latest version). According to the article here, http://blogs.msdn.com/b/psssql/archive/2010/03/23/unable-to-load-clr-assembly-intermittently.aspx, and according to the KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918040, we acknowledge that the issue is due to the way its designed and we will provide the feedback to our product group and if its found to be a bug, well work towards the fix.

Mekh.
