Memory problems
Hi I need to know if it is correct the next operation of this process. The Tomcat.exe is configured to start with 2Gb and as much 6Gb. The server has 8Gb. Everything looks correct, but when servicing the process consumes up to 8GB, and when no one is currently operations i have these data: Commit (KB): 3.937.424 Working Set (KB): 7.007.976 Shareable (KB): 3.809.736 Private (KB): 3.198.240 The server runs out of memory. It is normal to not release memory? Hardware Reserver: 1MB In use: 7910 MB Modified: 0MB Standby: 195MB Free: 86MB Windows 2008 R2 x64 con tomcat x64 Thanks

For the limits of memory management, refer to that: http://blogs.technet.com/b/markrussinovich/archive/2009/03/26/3211216.aspx For more details about your current issue, I would recommend asking in Tomcat forums or contact its developer technical support for assistance. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
