Media Center on longhorn
Hi, I wish to have a single server that has web server capabilities (through sharepoint server) and also can be used for my TV (Windows Media Center). Is there anyway that longhorn can be configured to allow media center to be installed? My understanding is that longhorn does not come with media center. Josh

Media Center only come with Windows XP Media Center Edition and Windows Vista (Home Premium and Ultimate) edition.

A couple of possible solutions come to mind. 1. Install third party media center like software. Snapstreams BeyondTV comes to mind. The latest version works with Vista x86but I'm not certain of it's compatibility with Longhorn server. 2. Run Vista (or XP) Home Premium or Ultimate and then run Longhorn with sharepoint in a VM.
