Maximum expiration time for SAS

Hello,

it is not clear from the documentation, what is the maximum expiration time for a SharedAccessBlobPolicy. Can I set it for 3 months or even forever? Is it different for ad hoc SAS and SAS with stored access policy?

I need a SAS link valid for 3 months. Should I create stored access policy for it or ad hoc SAS is fine?

Thank You

Hi Igor,

Greetings!!

you can set expiry time whatever you want.

SharedAccessExpiryTime = DateTime.MaxValue

Best practices recommend that you either specify an expiry time for a SAS, or associate it with a stored access policy.
