Mapping Network Drives
Hi,
I have a network drive on a Server 2003, and I can map the network drive in Windows Explorer, and access the network drive from every computer, but when I try to map the network drive using "net use x:
\\COMPUTER\Folder" it keeps saying:
C:\Windows\system32>net use x: \\192.168.1.**\Folder
System error 53 has occurred.
The network path was not found.
What can I do? I have tried running cmd as administrator. I am running windows 7.
Thanks :D

Hi,
Thanks for posting here.
Would this issue also occurred if access via host name or IP address ? have you tried to access via FQDN name ?
Have you deployed DNS or WINS server for name resolution in your environment ?
Thanks
