Map Network Drive Access Denied
Hello,
I would agree with Dariusg.
Please check NTFS and Share permissions.
Please also note that when you access remotely a shared folder, NTFS and share permissions will be combined and you will have the less of possible permissions.
You can manage permissions based on NTFS permissions if you grant full control for everyone on share permissions.

Restart the Netlogon service on the user computer from where you were unable to map network drive. See if that makes any difference. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
Most of the downtime's are caused because of SysAdmin's curiosity ! - Santosh

Hello Kyle
There are couple of steps we try in our organization for similar issue:
1) Start -> Run -> control keymgr.dll. You will get a windows popped up. Check there if any password is saved for home directory. Remove it, restart ur PC and try mapping the drive again.
2) Reset the permissions and ownership on user's home directory from the server where the home folder resides. Also make sure after resetting the permissions, respective user should be the owner of his home directory. Then restart the PC and try
mappping the drive again. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960646
3) Sometimes recreating profile also helps. We can try that as well.
Good Luck !!

I have a user on the domain that I changed her last name and log in name in AD. I also created another folder in her home directory that I map to. All of a sudden I'm getting access denied when mapping to that network folder. If I use my domain admin
credentials when it asks for credentials, mine works, her's don't. I have given her full control of the network folder to no avail. Can you help?

Check Share permissions and NTFS permissions to make sure the user has access in both permissions
