MapPoint compatibility with Windows Server 2008
Microsoft states that MapPoint 2011 is not compatible with Server 2008 64 bits. I just did a test here on our Windows 2008 R2 DataCenter version and MapPoint seems to run fine. Our VB.NET application is making calls to the AxMapPoint COM version 18.0. I can open maps, save maps, add pushpins, remove pushpins without problems. Compile option for our application is x86. Should I expect any issues ?

If it is not supported, MS won’t provide any support if you run into any issues. My recommendation is do not run any software on unsupported OS. Thank you for your reply Santosh. May I ask if you base our answer on reading Microsoft Web Site or from personal experience with MapPoint 2011 ? What kind of issues can I expect ?
