Managing Azure VMs, Admin tools

From what I understand there is no "Hyper-V Manager" available for the end user or even Microsoft. What Admin tools are used to Manage a farm of Azure VMs? (Clearly the Management Portals are not the answer).

TIA,

You can use either System Center 2012 R2 App Controller or Virtual Machine Manager to manage Azure VM's. Also Azure PowerShell can be used.

"... or Virtual Machine Manager "

Ooh. I was told the Hyper-V Manager no longer exists in Azure as one does not have access to the underlying HOST. Where is the Hyper-V Manager located in Azure?

I meant System Center 2012 R2 Virtual Machine Manager (VMM).

To manage your VM's in Azure you have following options:

1. Azure Portal (not solution for you based on your request)

2. SC 2012 R2 App Controller.

3. SC 2012 R2 VMM

4. Azure PowerShell

5. 3rd party applications (can't provide any examples because using Portal/SC and PowerShell).

Note: 2/3 require on-premise infrastructure deployment (storage, hardware, SQL etc.).
