Making A Truly Custom Image with WDS2K8
Hey,At the moment I've got a custom boot and capture image for deploying Windows XP and Vista via WDS. I have downloaded DOS & XP Drivers for my NICS and imported then with a script for all machines plus VirtualBox networkdrivers. I did this with WAIKHowever I can either have a capture image, a deployment image, or a custom PE image. What I want to do is combine this all into one. I want to have a batch script run at bootup prompting a menu. E.g. 1 for Deployment, 2 capture, 3 maintenance. To do this do I just harvest Setup.exe and WDScapture.exe from the two image's on index array "2"? When I create a custom PE image, how do I make my batch script load at startup instead of the blank command prompt that shows:"X:\"Thanks. I just wish to put an AV, Deployer, and Capturer all in one image. I'm sure it's doable...

Hi, As this issue is mainly related to scripting, we are not the best resource to help you. I suggest discussing this issue in our MSDN forum. They mainly deal with scripting/coding issues. http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/categories I hope your issue can be resolved. Tim Quan - MSFT
