Machines lose trust relationship
Hi Guys for about a week or so I've been having a strange issue where various machines (Win 7 and earlier) lose the trust relationship and then have to be re-joined to the domain, is this DNS related or DC related. any ideas would be helpfull Thanks

Hi, This can happen because of any of the following: The secure link between the PC and the Directory is broken due to a disruption in the presentation of credentials. The client machine presents the right password, but the wrong machine account. How to resolve the 'trust relationship has been lost with domain controller' error http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/how-to-resolve-the-trust-relationship-has-been-lost-with-domain-controller-error.aspx BrentPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. I beleive that a System restore of a domain joined computer could also cause this if the restore was brought back to a point in time where the machine password was different.Visit: anITKB.com, an IT Knowledge Base.
