MS Hosted LiveMeeting Blocked by RRAS?
This is going to sound like a LiveMeeting issue at first but it's something going on with our Server 2003 Standard SP2 Router. We've been users of MS Hosted LiveMeeting service for a year or so now with no troubles. This morning we've run into a problem where trying to connect to LiveMeeting via the web browser AND the application you can download and both are taking anywhere between 15 and 20 minutes to connect. I've narrowed it down to something in the RRAS router box that is going on and delaying it or blocking it or whatever it may be. I've tried computers outside the domain but in the same network and it does not work. I've tries computers in the domain and in the same network and it does not work. The only way I've gotten it to successfully connect is through a box that is on the same external subnet as the RRAS box but is not connected to the same internal subnet as the RRAS box. Basically every machine inside of the RRAS internal subnet is having this problem. Various operating systems (Win XP Pro SP3 all the way up to Windows 7 Enterprise) on the client machines. The clients are using IE 8. It's only the livemeeting site causing this problem. We're able to connect to all other Microsoft HTTP and HTTPS sites, as well as other sites on the internet. RRAS box specs: Dell Optiplex Server Duals as a Domain Controller No ISA server Only firewall used is the one that comes with the RRAS role package I've tried contacting Livemeeting support but they came to the determination it wasn't a livemeeting problem, which it very well might not be. Any suggestions on how I can either fix or troubleshoot this problem a bit further.
