MSXML6
Hi all, We have an issue on our server 2008 R2 64bit. We are running an application that has a problem. To fix this i'm supposed to install MSXML6. Is MSXML6 a part of the operating system, or do i need to install it seperately? Anyone? Grt. Stefan

To determine the MSXML version that is installed on your computer, follow these steps: Locate the Msxmlx.dll file in the following directory: C:\Windows\System32 Right-click the Msxmlx.dll file, and then click Properties. Click the Details tab to see the version information. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

MSXML is allready installed (version 6.30.7600.16385) So that can't be the solution. Back to the helpdesk again. Thanks.

Hi Steven, MSXML 6.0 is included with Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista and Windows XP SP3. To check the version, do as Mr X said above.
