MSSQL policies

MSSQL policies does not recognize user connections. The error message reads:

Error: Unable to connect to the data source using the defined settings. Server has returned:
ODBCError 28000: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'admin'. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

Hi

I think you are trying to connect throgh windows authentication.

Is 'admin' user added on SQL server or it is a domain administrator? If not then create it there.

Using VS 2008 as a client (Date Source: Microsoft SQL Server (SqlClient), Authentication: Use SQL Server Authentication), the remote machines responds as follows:

A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred durning the login process. (provider:TCP Provider, error:0 - The specified network name is no longer available.)
