MICROSOFT LICENSING
I am adding a server to an existing SBS2003 domain. The OS for the new server is MS Windows Server 2008 STD R2 and it will be running MS SQL Server 2008 STD R2. Do I need to purchase a server licence and CALs for both the OS and the SQL software running on it? In other words do I need two server licenses and two sets of CALs? Up until now I have been working solely with the SBS product so this is a bit new to me. Many thanks.
