Does this KB show as not applicable when you try to install them? Please give a try:
http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2732595
http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/977692

Please also try to remove the antivirus installed on a DC and other security software running on it for testing and check again.

Hi HarrisD,

Please refer to Ahmed MALEK's suggestion and check if can help you.

In addition, please check if install all necessary windows updates in those problematic server. Please also perform a clean boot and check if this issue still exits.

Meanwhile, please refer to following KB and check if that HotFix will help you.

Lsass.exe process crashes and error code 255 is logged because of a CNF NTDS Settings object in Active Directory on Windows
