Hi,

EDI schemas files are present in compressed self-extracting executable called MicrosoftEdiXSDTemplates.exe and is included in drive:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 R2\XSD_Schema\EDI. The schema files in this executable include EANCOM, EDIFACT, HIPAA, and X12 schemas. When you unzip them to your hard drive, they will be stored in EANCOM, EDIFACT, HIPAA, and X12 folders.

You will fine that and all other similar Schemas at or near:

%:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013\XSD_Schema\EDI\MicrosoftEdiXSDTemplates.zip\MicrosoftEdiXSDTemplates\X12\00501\X12_00501_856.xsd

You don't need to extract all of MicrosoftEdiXSDTemplates.exe, just change the extension to .zip and you can browse it to extract only what you need.

No, you will need a valid BizTalk Server License to use the Schemas that ship with BizTalk Server.

However, you can download the Microsoft Azure BizTalk Services SDK which contains the EDI schemas as well.

No, we can't do that.  You have to download the SDK from the above link.

Are you having a problem downloading the SDK?
